A very common bird in the garden. It nearly disappeared a decade ago. It is now making a come-back. Photo taken in our home garden.

Birds at 'Karuwelagas Wewa' ( Ebony trees tank), Puttalam, Sri Lanka.

On the Puttalam - Anuradhapura road, I found this tank teeming with bird life on the 12th & 14th of July 2015. Open Bills were a plenty. Egrets, Black-headed Ibises, Cormorants & a lone Indian Darter were evident. I hope you enjoy identifying each species on this video.
