Juvenile 'Shikra' - Accipiter badius, Avissawella, Sri Lanka.

When  I picked up my grand-son from the Janadipathy Vidyalaya at Avissawella, I saw this young bird on a coconut tree in the school grounds. I came home, took my camera and went back within ten minutes. It was still there and I had an ample opportunity to take these pictures, using a 10X zoom on my Fuji finepix S1500.
