Black-hooded Oriole - Oriolus xanthornus, Avissawella, Sri Lanka.

This bird is called 'Kaha kurulla' - Yellow Bird - in Sinhalese. It is called 'Maampalakkuruvi' - 'Mango bird' in Tamil because of its fondness for the ripe mango fruit. The second picture shows it enjoying a mango fruit.
