I took this picture of a bird high up on the branch of a tree at Kadugannawa. It was a small bird. I have made a tentative identification. If you have any suggestions I would be glad to receive them.

Scarlet Minivet - Pericrocotus flammeus - Kosgama, Sri Lanka.

I took these pictures using my Fuji HS 250 using near the maximum end of the 30X built into the camera. It was a hand-held shot aimed at a branch of a very high tree. The bird was very small and was quite agile.
