The cry 'whee.... quee quee' makes one look at the sky. The 'Brahminy Kite' either single or in a pair will be visible high up. They spot any free ranging chicks on the ground. They swoop down and pick them up for a hearty meal. I took this picture on the river bank of the Kelany Ganga at Aswaththe in Avissawella, Sri Lanka.
