 I am not sure of this bird's identity, any help is welcome.

'Malabar Pied Horn-bill' - Anthracoceros coronatus, Katharagama, Sri Lanka.

I spotted this on the bank of the 'Menik Ganga' near the Katharagama Holy Shrine. I saw a similar or was it the same pair at Sithulpawwa a few hours earlier.

'Spotted Dove' - Streptopelia chinensis ceylonensis, Sithulpawwa, Sri Lanka.

This looked a larger than normal variety found in the rest of Sri Lanka. I first mistook it for an Imperial pigeon' but the feathers and eye-shade are characteristic of a 'Spotted Dove'.
